Mike Korman has been a member of InfraGard since 2016 as a member of the Minneapolis Chapter (2016-2017) and in Chicago (2017-present).  Korman presented to the Chicago Chapter about Drones and Photogrammetry.

Korman is a retired United States Navy Master Chief Petty Officer, four-time combat veteran and recipient of 13 personal awards including the Bronze Star Medal and two Defense Meritorious Service Medals.  In 2005-2006 Korman was by-name requested to serve on the staff of General David Petraeus and served in Baghdad, Iraq, as a Command Master Chief serving on the team that was tasked with training, equipping, and mentoring the Iraqi Police Force.  Korman worked directly with sworn United States law enforcement officers under the United States Department of Justice International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (“ICITAP”) and the US Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (“INL”) programs in addition to U.S. and allied military forces.

Following his Iraq tour, Korman returned home to Chicagoland (Evanston, Glenview) and worked for Target Corporation as a construction executive from 2006 to 2015.  In progressively responsible positions, including five years at the Minneapolis Headquarters, he led the construction teams that transformed Target from a general merchandiser to a more comprehensive shopping experience by adding a grocery component to every box.  He led the CityTarget program and opened the Chicago-State Street location in the former Carson-Pirie-Scott (aka Sullivan) building.  Additionally, he opened the first two of many Target Express locations as program manager.  He is most proud of his efforts to open the Target store on the former Cabrini Green, the Target Chicago-Division Street store.

Since 2015 Korman has been a Vetrepreneur, consultant, and sole-owner of Korman LLC, a Department of Veterans Affairs certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (“SDVOSB”).  His firm is a technology pioneer in construction photogrammetry.  He is an FAA-rated Part 107 Small UAV/Drone pilot  Most recently, Korman LLC has partnered with Hexagon AB (Sweden) and Multivista (Canada/US) in developing and promoting force-multiplier solutions using 360 Photo, 3D Laser Scanning, Scan to BIM, Scan to Plan, Photos, Video, Webcam, Drone/UAV and Virtual Walkthrough.

Mike is husband to Caryn (Education Executive at UIC) and father to Sophie (honor student, swimmer, singer).  He serves as a community elected member of the Glenview Consolidated Community School District 34 Board Member and Secretary.  He is also on the Board of the Seabee Historical Foundation.

Edward Marchewka, DBA is the VP, IT and Quality Services, & Strategic Planning for Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network.  In his role, Edward is oversees Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network’s Information & Technology Services, Quality Management Services and Education & Training Services departments, in addition to directing organizational strategic planning. He directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems and the development and evaluation of quality improvement and employee safety, ensuring adherence to regulatory/compliance standards. He manages data analytics, data science and data-driven organizational leadership, and designs and develops new and existing business models to ensure alignment of finance, operations, administration and other disciplines. Dr. Marchewka also serves as Gift of Hope’s Quality Officer and HIPAA Security and Privacy Officer.  Edward is also the Founder and Creator of CHICAGO Metrics®, a platform to a program to help manage your company’s key IT and Information Security risks enabling you to have a better conversation with business leadership in terms that they understand.

Before joining Gift of Hope Edward was the Enterprise Information Security and Server Operations Manager (CISO) for Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the country.  Additionally, his IT background includes experiences from running his own business to field service to Fortune 250 experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific.   Edward holds active certifications from: (ISC)², PMI, ITIL, PCI, Microsoft, CompTIA, and a designation from the NSA, along with legacy certifications from: Cisco and HP. He is a member of (ISC)², PMI, AITP, ISACA, SIM, and ax ex officio Board Member with the Chicago InfraGard.  Edward is involved with: GMIS International and the Colorado Technical University – College of Security Studies Advisory Council.  He is also a Navy veteran.

Edward has completed, a Doctorate in Business Administration from California Southern University, from Northern Illinois University, an MBA and an MS in Mathematics and, from Thomas Edison State College, a BS in Nuclear Engineering Technologies and a BA in Liberal Studies.  He also holds a Certificates in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Mike has almost twenty years of progressive experience in information security working across multiple industries (e.g. professional services, manufacturing, and retail). He recently joined JLL, a Chicago based real estate management and financial services firm, as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Americas region. Prior to joining JLL, he was the Sr. Director of Information Risk Management for FTD Corporation for five years.

He have been a member of the Chicago InfraGard Programming committee which helps to plan the quarterly meetings and special events (e.g., Range Day). He also served for six years as an Auxiliary Deputy with the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Mike is excited about the opportunity to serve on the Chicago InfraGard Executive Council and use his experience and leadership to advance the goals of InfraGard.

He is a graduate of Lewis University (B.A.) and the University of Notre Dame (MBA) and hold the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.

Terry Donat, MD, is a dual-board certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon/OHNS and Medical Investigator practicing in Northern Illinois and greater metropolitan Chicago for the past 18 years.    Dr.Donat was trained in Biochemistry at the Pennsylvania State University and received his Medical Degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1991. Terry is a written-exam reviewer and oral board examiner of U.S. and Canadian surgeons for the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has extensive experience in facial reconstruction and managing blunt/penetrating head and neck trauma. Terry is the first physician certified as an Illinois Professional Emergency Manager. He is trained in acute Radiation Emergency Medicine, the Medical Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties and as a past National Disaster Life Support Instructor. He was appointed IEMA RACES Regional Radio Officer on the State Team for IEMA Region 2. Terry is the first physician to complete the graduate program in Veterinary Homeland Security from Purdue University – National Biosecurity Resource Center.  He serves as an external resource to the FBI Chicago Field Office WMD Coordinator and the FBI WMD Directorate Biological Countermeasure Unit. He also served as a biosecurity and medical intelligence subject matter expert for the Underwriters Laboratory Security Council.  He is a lifetime member of the Special Operations Medial Association (SOMA) and is currently researching novel means for mitigating heat stress in austere thermally-hazardous environments.

Terry serves as the Health and Public Health Sector Chief for InfraGard Chicago; serves aside James Terbush, MD MPH, as co-chair of the Healthcare Industry Advisory Group of the InfraGard National Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Special Interest Group; and is a member of the Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council – DHS/DHHS (cybersecurity Information-sharing subgroup). He is keenly interested in expanding capabilities in healthcare cybersecurity; biosecurity and medical intelligence; and assessing those threats, risks, and vulnerabilities of infrastructure and evolving dual-use technologies relevant to homeland and national security. 

Raymond V. Hall, Principal Consultant, Raymond V. Hall Training and Consultant Services has extensive experience as a trainer in leadership, management and organization development programs and consultant in strategic planning and other group based organizational interventions.

Currently Raymond provides leadership support and guidance for closely held companies and nonprofit groups on technology planning and implementation, profitability improvement, network and general security, communication and strategic planning.

Henry F. Gralak is the Executive Director of the West Suburban Consolidated Dispatch Center (WSCDC). WSCDC provides public safety call taking and dispatch services for the communities of Oak Park, River Forest, and Elmwood Park. Prior to taking over WSCDC Henry was Director of Police and Fire Emergency Communications for the City of Elgin, IL. Henry was also a member of the Chicago Police Department for some 28 years, retiring in 1998. While a member of the CPD Henry devoted seven years of his career to the design, development, and implementation of what is now the Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC). Henry also has private sector disaster recovery experience with Comdisco, United Airlines, and Motorola.

Henry graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Organizational behavior and a Diploma in Police Administration and Training. He is currently serving as an at-large Director of the Chicago InfraGard Chapter, a position he also held in 2007. He is also the past President of the Business Resumption Planners Association (BRPA) of Chicago.

In 2008, Lynn took his passion for the ever-changing world of cybersecurity and his 20+ years of industry experience and founded RedLegg. As Founder and Co-Partner, Lynn crafted RedLegg into the successful, honorable corporation and family of experts it is today. A veteran of the Illinois Army National Guard, Lynn knows the value and power of a diligent, close-knit team and is proud to be at the helm of this one.

Scott Swanson has been an advisor to the U.S. intelligence and special operations community. Within the corporate landscape, he’s been an executive consultant with top-tier public accounting firms as a financial crimes expert. With more than 20 years of global risk and resiliency experience in both the public and private sector. He has a degree in Foreign Language, a Masters in Strategic Intelligence, graduate studies in Counter Terrorism from the University of St. Andrews, and certified expertise in mobile device and cyber security, forensics, and financial crime investigations. He currently leads the Chicago Sector program as a liaison between industry and FBI intelligence analysts.

Paul Sand is the AVP, Independent Security Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. He has worked at Bell Laboratories, AT&T Network Systems, Lucent Technologies, mVerify, Salare Security, and IP3, Inc. At Bell Laboratories and AT&T Network Systems, Paul was involved in multiple very large scale software development efforts focused on delivering services with ultra-high reliability, availability and integrity. At Salare Security, he significantly advanced the cyber security industry by bringing to market radical, novel new technology for real-time media security. Paul is an avid inventor and responsible for inventing and co-inventing 42 inventions that have resulted in 21 U.S. patents to date.

Paul was the Workgroup Co-Chairman for VoIP Security Project of the Internet Security Alliance that has been sponsored by NIST, DHS and the NSA. Paul was a contributor to second revision of the Financial Management of Cyber Risk published by the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) Homeland Security Standards Panel (HSPP) and was a member of the ANSI Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel. He is a member of the board of the Chicago Chapter of the FBI InfraGard (Infrastructure Protection), a member of the U.S. Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force, a member of the Cyber Committee of the Illinois Terrorism Task Force (ITTF) and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). He also serves as an industry advisor on the Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL) Security Council.
