
Henry F. Gralak, At-Large Board Member
Henry F. Gralak is the Executive Director of the West Suburban Consolidated Dispatch Center (WSCDC). WSCDC provides public safety call taking and dispatch services for the communities of Oak Park, River Forest, and Elmwood Park. Prior to taking over WSCDC Henry was Director of Police and Fire Emergency Communications for the City of Elgin, IL. Henry was also a member of the Chicago Police Department for some 28 years, retiring in 1998. While a member of the CPD Henry devoted seven years of his career to the design, development, and implementation of what is now the Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC). Henry also has private sector disaster recovery experience with Comdisco, United Airlines, and Motorola.
Henry graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Organizational behavior and a Diploma in Police Administration and Training. He is currently serving as an at-large Director of the Chicago InfraGard Chapter, a position he also held in 2007. He is also the past President of the Business Resumption Planners Association (BRPA) of Chicago.
