Hello ICMA Members,
In an effort to improve our chapter, the current Board of Directors has approved the 2021 ICMA Bylaws, which is now being provided to you for review. These will be voted on at our August 19th ICMA Q3 quarterly meeting using an electronic vote of the members in attendance.
Not included in the summary of changes are formatting, grammatical, and minor changes that do not materially change the Bylaws.
Significant changes include:
- Structure of the Board and Officers. The Board will consist of 11 members from 7 which is currently.
- Payment Approvals – Removal of chairman of the boards limit. Our chapter is self-funded through sponsorships and voluntary contributions. We have significant funds and being able to operate the chapter is necessary to move forward.
